March 13, 2015 – Smart Grid Innovation Cluster Announces Addition of SmartSenseCom to Startup Accelerator ProgramThe Smart Grid Cluster, a business accelerator platform for innovative smart grid companies, today announced the addition of SmartSenseCom to its comprehensive startup accelerator program.
SmartSenseCom has developed next-generation fiber optic sensor systems based upon proven military technology that offer unparalleled intelligence into grid operations. Effective at any voltage or current level, in both AC and DC systems, SmartSenseCom’s products provide grid operators with lower cost, higher quality network monitoring – with the speed and accuracy necessary to safely integrate renewables, increase network efficiency, and achieve closed-loop, automated grid control.
